About Dr. Sweet
Dr. Charles Sweet is a board-certified psychiatrist and Medical Advisor to Linear Health, where he provides clinical oversight on healthcare automation, care coordination workflows, and patient engagement strategy.
A native Texan, Dr. Sweet earned his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Illinois, completed his psychiatry residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and returned to Austin for specialized fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He has been in clinical practice since 2009 and is the founder of Specialty Clinic of Austin.
Dr. Sweet brings over 15 years of frontline clinical experience to Linear Health's mission of removing administrative barriers from patient care. His expertise spans adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry, clinical research, and healthcare operations.
